From tips for breaking down winter squash, to hearty winter salads and sweet treats, we’ll celebrate the variety and beauty of our region’s winter fare. Katherine Deumling, founder and CEO of Cook With What You Have, will host this dynamic online cooking class, designed for maximum interactivity. Katherine brings a flexible, pantry-based approach to cooking and a focus on flavor and fresh produce. You’ll learn practical tips, discover new techniques, and find out how to make a delicious meal out of the random items in your fridge!
Katherine has prepared a beautiful menu to demo for us, featuring:
- Roasted Winter Squash & Onions with Tahini Sauce
- Pear & Red Onion Bruschetta with Blue Cheese
- Parsnip & Parsley Hash with Lemon
- Winter “Everything” Salad
